Teachers´ Training

          This has been a wonderful week. We have studied about different methods to teach Grammar. Grammar is not an easy subject because it requires had work. Sometimes students get tired of Grammar because it is kind of boring. The teacher told us different ways to teach and make the students be interested on the lessons. Also, we did a short presentation about how to teach Many and Much. It was not easy because most of us do not have the same ideas. I think that we did a good job, and we are going to keep in mind all the suggestions that the teacher gave us.

    Since I wasn't in the class, could you tell me what you did with "many" and "much"? I'm curious to know how you explained. What suggestions did Triny give you?

    Why do you think many language learners find grammar boring? (I, personally, am fascinated by grammar, both its simplicity and its complexity.) What might be some ways to "bring it alive" or "make it exciting" for learners?

Teacher´s Training The past friday. We visited Mary Frances George Junior High School. We were in different classrooms with different students and teachers. We were observing the classes and taking notes about the methods that the teachers use with their students. It was an interesting experience because the students are from around the world. They are students who have difficult lives because the don´t live with their parents. I admire the teachers who work in this school because sometimes the students are rebellious and require different deal.
